ResponsibilitiesWe are recruiting for an experienced training specialist to take on a management role for a leading company within the manufacturing and aviation space.
As a Technical Training Manager, your responsibilities include identifying the training objectives and conducting a needs assessment.
You should develop all the training material required to carry out this training session accordingly.
Your goal should be to ensure that all employees develop technical skills and carry out their tasks more efficiently.RequirementsDegree or Diploma in Human Resource, Training and Development, or Education is preferred.At least 5 years of experience as a Training Specialist or Technical Training Lead/Manager within the manufacturing, sheet metal, or aviation sectors.Professional Certification in training (certified technical trainer) will be preferred.Ideally, you will have a Level 5 ETDP / Trade Certificate / Assessor and Moderator Certificates.Experience with artisanal training highly preferred.Strong knowledge of development and learning practices.Ability to identify organizational training needs.Ability to determine the effectiveness of training.Good knowledge of succession planning and talent management methods.Outstanding oral and written communication skills.Excellent leadership and project management skills.Outstanding managerial and interpersonal skills.Key Responsibilities Will Include But Not Be Limited ToManage all technical training initiatives for the organisation.Analyze and identify the need for technical training in the company.Communicate with the employees and discuss with them the technical issues they are facing.Develop training material including outlines, handouts, and other exercises.Coordinate with industry experts for conducting classroom-style training and workshops.Set up, facilitate, and administer technical training schedules in all manufacturing departments.Create training curriculums for technical skills.Facilitate soft skills training.Analyze training to ensure relevance, currency, and quality.Ultimately developing staff to reach their full potential within their respective disciplines.Location: JHB, GautengDuration: PermanentTo apply or for further details, send us a detailed CV (in MS Word format) via email to ****** (Ref: TTM_JSL_G)
