About the Role: As a Technical Support/QA Engineer, you will be resolving network issues, configuring operating systems and using remote desktop connections to provide immediate support. You will use email and chat applications to give our teams quick answers to simple IT issues. For more complex problems that require nuanced instruction, you will contact teams telephonically and/or provide clear, written instructions and technical manuals on how to resolve issues. On the QA support area, you will also be required to create tests that identify issues with software before a product launch. These tests entail other tasks such as developing and running new tests and reporting their results to the CTO, who will collaborate with you and other team members to fix program bugs or problems.
Responsibilities: Work closely with Mobile operators across Africa and report technical problems.Responsible for Reconciliation & Mismatch between different systemsMonitoring & maintaining PISI Platform Servers and other equipment's (F/W / VPN)Be available online to solve technical problems accrue outside of working hours.Understanding all PISI group services and flows and writing UAT / Go No Go documents.Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teamsPrioritise and manage several open issues at one time.Responsible for configuring equipment's, laptops, and security.Requirements: Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.Knowledge in F/W / VPN / Networking Configuration is a must.Solid knowledge of SQL and scriptingCertification in Microsoft, Linux, or Cisco is advantage.Experience with the VAS Market is an advantage.Prior experience in tech support, desktop support, or a similar role.Proficiency in Windows/Linux/Mac OS.Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Good written and verbal communication.Experience with working in an agile environment.Ability to work under pressure.
