The role requires a lend of sales insight and technical knowledge to effectively address customers needs and drive product application Overview and responsibilities Customer engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers in the animal production sector, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Technical expertise: Provide technical support and advice to customers regarding the application and benefits of the companys feed additives, ensuring that customers understand how the products meet their specific needs.
Product promotion: Actively promote and sell a range of feed additive products, demonstrating their value and effectiveness in improving animal health and productivity.
Market analysis: Conduct regular market research to identify trends and customer needs, enabling the development of targeted sales strategies.
Sales strategy development: Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
Training and support: Provide training and support to customers and internal teams on product features, benefits, and best practices for use.
Reporting and documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and market feedback, providing regular reports to management.
MSc(Agric) Animal science.
Strong understanding of animal nutrition and feed additives, including their applications and benefits.
Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the animal feed or nutrition industry (five years) Experience in technical sales support, sales, or marketing.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
