SALES CONSULTANTCivil Designer, a developer of advanced civil engineering design software is looking for a Software Sales Consultant to be based at their Tokai office in Cape Town.QualificationsDiploma in Sales and/or Marketing Skills & ExperienceQuick thinker Attention to detail Strong value system (respectful, punctual, honest and have integrity) High sense of urgency Self-motivated Above average communication and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to work under pressure and maintain deadlines without sacrificing quality of work, with excellent attention to detail Organized, meticulous and interested in learning within a fast-paced environment Demonstrable excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Experience in new business selling (cold calling / opening new doors Excellent negotiation and persuasive skills for the purposes of closing deals  Resilience and a willingness to deal with rejection Good networking skills and the ability to handle numerous client companies and customers Adaptable and approachable  Eight to ten years' experience in commercial sales sector. Technology savvy - Proven proficiency in the use of software packages such as the MS Office platform and web-based CRM tools Ability to work under pressure and devise sales strategies Ability to explain product features and benefits in a way that stands out over competing brands  Passionate about selling and finding ways to satisfy customers' needs Excellent organization and management capabilities, including being a team player. Civil infrastructure software sales experience would be advantageous Job DescriptionDevelop and maintain a robust sales pipeline Conduct executive-level sales engagements and establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the new business development sales cycle, in both virtual and face-to-face environments. Understand the needs of the customer and articulate the value of our software solution's capabilities and services in meeting those needs through Consultative Selling. Daily CRM logging and reporting. Work hand-in-hand with technical support team to demonstrate competitive advantages of our products Code 8 driver's licence with own transport. Willing to travel away from home for at least two weeks a month.
