Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest medical equipment, and we are looking for a dedicated Technical Service Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, and management of this critical technology.Role Overview: The Technical Service Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all hospital medical equipment and technology operate efficiently and effectively. This role involves managing a team of biomedical engineers and technicians, coordinating with vendors, and implementing best practices for equipment maintenance and safety.Key Responsibilities:Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of biomedical engineers and technical staff. Provide training, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities.Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and calibration of medical equipment. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and hospital policies. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.Vendor Coordination: Liaise with equipment vendors for service contracts, warranty claims, and repairs. Negotiate and manage service agreements.Budget Management: Develop and manage the technical service budget. Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.Emergency Response: Address and resolve urgent equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure patient safety.Qualifications:Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, A Masters degree or GCC certification is a plus.Experience: Minimum of (5) years of experience in a similar role within a hospital or healthcare setting or plant/building maintenance. Proven track record in managing technical teams and complex medical equipment.Skills: Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical expertise. Proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
