Role Headline Oversees technically related sales support processes and activities in order to effectively support assigned sales teams and customer organizations with technical information and services needed to integrate products into customers' technical infrastructure or their products.
Responsibilities of the Role Responsible for all Business Development activities for Low Voltage Switchgear products and portfolio in this region, as well as others as directed.Oversees the installation activities and/or service operations of a field unit.Contributes to budget planning and resource allocation in assigned operational unit(s).Ensures adherence to defined guidelines, processes, and procedures.Prioritizes and assigns tasks to team members and monitors progress to ensure timely completion.Proposes improvements in procedures and implements technical infrastructure.Responds to complex, operations-related enquiries.Acts as first level of escalation for occurring business cases and issues.Reports accurately and timely to accountable management.Leads and/or coordinates a dedicated team of technical sales support operators or professionals.Responsible for driving Siemens presence at Consultants, Architects, EPCs, and Contractors in Industry and Infrastructure.Responsible for awareness creation at the above-mentioned customer groups, driving specification to include Siemens Low Voltage Switchgear.Supports Partner Management in establishing a SINOVA Partner/Distributor network.Generates and leads bid opportunities utilizing their area of expertise to contribute to a strong Sales pipeline.Performs project coordination in assigned projects and supplies information for the development of new strategies.Completes market and business research as well as competitor analysis in relation to the SINOVA Product Portfolio.Seeks, farms, and appoints Industrial and Infrastructure Partners together with Partner Management.Critical Success Factors Personal drive and commitment.Ability to work unsupervised or micro-managed; should be a self-starter, results-oriented, and have a strong intellectual curiosity.Teamwork and outcomes-based interaction with colleagues.Take on leadership roles and responsibilities.Ability to work extremely well under pressure and still be driven to achieve results.Excellent understanding of what is expected and putting in place strategies, goals, and tactics to achieve and surpass expectations.Able to thrive in a fast-paced, global sales environment.Qualifications and Experience Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, with a business qualification/degree being an added advantage.Excellent understanding of the infrastructure segment, role players, channels, product portfolio, etc.Ability to lead virtual project teams to successful implementation across countries.Excellent intercultural skills to cooperate with country and partner managers in various countries.At least 5 years work experience in a business/sales/channel development role.Previous experience working directly in or with a channel sales organization/business essential.Attributes and Skills Strong interpersonal skills.Excellent presentation and communication skills.Proven negotiating skills.Team player, able to juggle multiple work-streams with matrix resources and goals in a dynamic, growing company.Project/program management experience beneficial.Strong business and finance acumen.Market analysis/Marketing competence.Our culture: Our culture embraces different perspectives, open debate, and the will to challenge convention.
