Job duties: Internal Sales Coverage: Independently manage internal sales, including handling counter sales, taking telephonic orders, and processing customer orders in person, particularly when the Internal Sales Representative is absent.Training Leadership: Lead training sessions for customers both on-site and at customer premises, demonstrating product knowledge effectively after three months of employment.Customer Visits: Visit a specified number of customers weekly, spending 90% of the time out of the office to engage with existing clients and explore new markets.Reporting: Submit weekly and monthly reports on customer visits and maintain Excel spreadsheets tracking regional activities.Event Participation: Represent the company at regional exhibitions and shows, such as Nampo in Bothaville and similar events in Cape Town and surrounding areas.Business Travel: Be willing to stay overnight for business trips to remote areas, typically required every two months.Strategic Planning: Develop and implement basic strategies to enhance the companys position in the market.Deal Closing and Relationship Building: Focus on closing sales deals, not just processing orders, while building and maintaining strong business relationships.Independent Work: Demonstrate trustworthiness and the ability to work independently, with support available as needed from backup staff.Effective Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients and internal staff. Will consist of a period of time (1-2 weeks) in the factory assembling products and being taught all technical aspects of our product range.Training on and at internal sales counter (2 weeks) depending on how quick the candidate respondsTraining on all sales related modules such as Syspro, Customer data base and Q Bit to name a few (2-5 days)
