We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Technical Sales Representative to join this dynamic sales team.
As a Technical Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving our business growth and revenue generation. You will combine your technical expertise with exceptional sales skills to effectively communicate the value of our products/services to potential clients.
Your Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Building:
- Identify and target potential clients in the Construction industry.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Understand clients' needs and offer tailored solutions that align with their requirements.
Product Knowledge:
- Develop a deep understanding of our products/services and their technical features.
- Articulate complex technical information in a clear and compelling manner to clients.
- Collaborate with the technical team to stay updated on product developments and enhancements.
Sales Strategy:
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and demonstrations.
Solution Consultation:
- Act as a consultant to clients, offering expert advice on how our products/services can address their challenges.
- Recommend appropriate solutions and up-sell/cross-sell opportunities based on client needs.
Proposal and Contract Management:
- Prepare detailed proposals, quotes, and contracts for potential clients.
- Negotiate terms and conditions to close sales while ensuring mutual satisfaction.
Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to the Sales Manager.
Qualifications
Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Proven track record in technical sales or a related role.
Strong technical acumen and the ability to understand complex products/services.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Results-driven with a passion for exceeding targets.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
