Technical Sales Representative (Ct / Westrand / Pretoria)

Duties & ResponsibilitiesTake full accountability for the achievement of revenue streams, profitability, and volume growth for direct accounts in the portfolio.Minimise and manage potential channel conflict, aiming to eliminate conflict in this channel.Develop processes to measure, track, report, and communicate account performance to ensure specific focus, while monitoring trends, achievements, and performance against targets.Develop reporting and monitoring mechanisms highlighting market movements to Sales and Management.Penetrate competitor markets.Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis on existing and potential customers as part of the sales process.Conduct cold calling at new/potential customers along with a focused growth strategy at existing customers in the allocated sales area.Analyse market potentials, track sales, and status reports.Meet and exceed sales budgets (volume & revenue).Establish, promote, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.Ensure adherence to company policy and procedures while maintaining integrity and sound business practices.Service and further develop the existing customer base.Participate/represent at open days/trade shows with the ability to conduct physical product demonstrations.Comply with the company's planning, reporting, and customer management structures as determined by management.Adhere to the company price list and discount structures as determined by management.Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support, and liaison with internal order-processing staff.Ensure effective customer satisfaction and after-sales care.Perform internal and customer-facing presentations.Liaise with internal office to produce client proposals and manage the delivery and follow-up with the client.Attend monthly sales meetings and one-on-ones with the Sales Manager.Seek out new opportunities constantly with both stand-alone and chain accounts within the established region.Communicate new service and product opportunities, feedback, special developments, or information collected during field activity to the Sales Manager.Coordinate with company staff to achieve the work required in closing up sales.Provide weekly feedback relating to lost sales and back orders.Submit monthly call planners by the last week of the month for the month ahead.Daily update of CRM with visit information and telephone calls.Provide an annual sales area plan, showing the following information: Sales per customer in the previous year,Sales extrapolated for the current year,Sales plan for the next year,Target customers.Any other duty which may be assigned from time to time.Desired Experience & QualificationA technical qualification and/or 3 years of experience in a technical field.Must have a valid un-endorsed driver's license.Must be willing to travel.Fluent in English and Afrikaans.Strong negotiation skills.Package & RemunerationR15K Basic.R8500.00 Car Allowance.Fuel car for business usage.Provident Fund.Un-capped Commission.
