About the Role:Opportunity available for an experienced Technical Sales Executive based at our Head Office in Somerset West.
You will drive sales and build strong relationships with clients within the mining industry globally.
Part of this role is to create and execute a strategy by identifying potential customers and creates awareness of and interest in our offerings through the use of technology. Requirements:Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Marketing or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the mining or technology industry.Tech savvy- can talk the language of technology with ease.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.Strong technical knowledge and ability to understand complex technical concepts.Ability to work independently and as part of a team whilst thrives on challenges.Articulate excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Being self-motivated, goal-oriented, persistent and able to work independently to achieve success.Being professional, flexible and adaptable to innovation and change.Responsibilities:Sales and Business Development:Identify, research and target potential clients.Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve targets and expand the customer base.Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.Create appropriate content that educates and brings an awareness of our offerings across multi-forums.Develop and execute lead generation campaigns by utilising multiple channels to perform lead generation activities.Technical Expertise:Understand and communicate the technical aspects and benefits of our products/services to clients.Provide technical support and guidance to clients, addressing their specific needs and requirements.Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our solutions based on customer needs.Client Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.Understand clients' business needs and propose tailored solutions to meet their objectives.Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.Sales Process Management:Core focus on targeted lead generation to open top of funnel pipeline.Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to closing deals.Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts and quotations.Collaboration and Reporting:Collaborate with sales and marketing to build programs that support sales enablement.Provide regular sales, forecasts and updates to the sales manager.
