ALG Estates, a Citrus Farmer in Citrusdal, has the above-mentioned position available for an energetic, analytical Technical Manager: Entomology to join their Management team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and has the ability to work accurately under pressure. The successful candidate will report to the Director and will be responsible for:Pest monitoring and controlWeed controlRoot healthManagement of spray crewsResponsible for spray of pesticidesInvolved in audits, MRL's etc.Ensure effective implementation of biological practiceResponsible for organic farming within the companyCreate and management of productivity systemsCreate and management of monitoring systemsPurchases and management of chemical stocksAll other tasks related to the position.Essential qualifications, skills and experience:Matric required.
