TECHNICAL MANAGER: CITRUS The purpose of this position is to ensure that Patrysberg Group's citrus cultivation continuously complies with the application of best practices in order to produce preferred quality products. Main focus areas of the position will include be: support to production teams in order to ensure quality standards and compliance with export protocols focus on the development of manpower regarding technical and precision farming practices proactive driving of pre-season production planning, as well as timely and accurate crop estimates management of efficient information collection and databases liaison with production teams to ensure effective flow of information management of pest control, fertilization and irrigation programmes and collaboration with production teams accordingly quality control and monitoring of actions that determine outcomes of processes liaison with packhouse regarding fruit management regular engagement with industry related forums to keep abreast of all the latest technical aspects regarding production, packaging and export of citrus. The position requires an agricultural qualification as well as proven experience of intensive citrus cultivation . A passion for the technical and scientific aspects of citrus cultivation will be crucial. Remuneration will support the challenges of the position.
