Reference: 9650 CMConsultant: Christa MostertJob Description:Routinely visit all production units to assess and monitor field crop quality, nutrient status, diseases visible, general crop quality, as well as fertilization, irrigation, and scouting (pest control) practices.Implement standard control, monitoring and assessment measures, sample, data capturing, data analysis, interpretation of results followed by feedback and reporting to farm managers and Regional Manager based on proven results.Develop and draft standardized SOPs for fertilization, irrigation, scout (pest control) practices and methodologies as per operational requirements and best practices.Attentively seek ways to improve on current methods, systems, keeping abreast with the latest developments and providing technical advice on best practices.Manage teams of fertilizer (nutrition), irrigation and scout (pest control) specialists.Qualifications:BSc Agricultural DegreeAt least 10 years' experience with applied knowledge within a similar position with proven record of experience as per above duties and responsibilities.Valid SA driver's licenceWilling to travel within Limpopo province and adapt to changing working hours as per operational requirements.Strong analytical and attention to detailCritical thinkingProblem-solvingAbility to work independently.Computer literate - advanced Excel: Once data has been collected, analysed, and measured, report by way of visualizations through charts and graphs.How to Apply:Email your comprehensive CV to ****** you are already registered, please forward your CV and the relevant reference number to the consultant with whom you are currently registered in order to avoid duplicity on our system.We reserve the right to only conduct interviews with candidates of choice.Applicants who have not received feedback within 30 days from the closing date must please accept their application as unsuccessful.
