These jobs were popular with other job seekersAn Agritalent client, a leading agribusiness, seeks a Technical Lead: Civil Engineering Duties & Responsibilities * Analysis, design and procurement - Gather all relevant site and problem statement information in order to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the project at hand. - Liaise with other disciplines and business units (Mechanical, Electrical, Operations) - Analyse and design relevant and cost-effective solutions - Prepare design and procurement information (design drawings, BOQ's, mark-ups etc.) - Manage procurement process (RFQ, RFP and Tenders) - Make recommendations - Acquire client approval through works submissions - Manage or oversee Civil Technologists, drafter, clerk of works and other team members in executing required works described above * Project Management - Project Execution and Management - Project Close-Out and As-Build * Management of Civil Discipline - Manage Civil Discipline as Civil Engineering Technical Lead - Devise / oversee yearly budgets on all relevant civil infrastructure (Grain, Commercial, Housing and Head  Office) based on inspections, requests, long-term plans and all related information - Manage client relations - Devise short and long-term plans on maintenance and capital expenditure on all relevant civil infrastructure - Liaise and engage with other disciplines and grow the maturity of the Engineering and Property Assets   (EPA) Unit - In addition to asset conditions, lead projects in terms of Risk & Compliance priorities. - Improvement of Unit procedures, processes, and systems. Desired Experience & Qualification 3 - 5 years' experience working as a B.Tech Civil Engineer. B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
