Our client, a total transport source solution company has an open vacancy.
Vacancy: Motorcycle Technical Installer/Courier Man Cape Town: Montague Gardens / Airport City   Ideal candidate to live in Cape town   Responsibilities: Installation of electronic equipment or devices at designated locations, such as retail stores or customer premises.
Ensuring the proper setup and configuration of devices according to specified guidelines and verifying that the installed equipment functions correctly before leaving the site.
Diagnosing technical problems, troubleshooting, and implementing solutions to fix or repair malfunctioning devices.
Collaborate with the technical support team to address and resolve any technical issues related to electronic equipment, delivery devices, tracking systems, or communication tools.
Uninstalling devices, disconnecting any associated components, and ensuring proper disposal or safe return of decommissioned equipment to warehouses/stocking locations.
Documenting the decommissioning process for record-keeping.
Conducting maintenance checks, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks on installed equipment.
Addressing minor issues before they escalate into major problems, ensuring the longevity and reliability of the devices.
Conducting regular audits to ensure that the inventory aligns with documented records.
Identifying any discrepancies, missing items, or instances of equipment not meeting the required standards.
Utilising handheld devices to log service calls, update stock levels, and manage inventory in real-time to ensure no variances and/or stock losses.
Ensuring accurate and timely information is recorded and communicated using these devices.
Adhere to KPI's that will be discussed and agreed with the MTC and are subject to change, in order to stay relevant to client requirements.
Generate and maintain accurate records of delivery data, including successful deliveries, delays, and customer feedback.
Provide regular reports to management on delivery performance and areas for improvement.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during the delivery process and report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
Maintain clear and timely communication with clients / customers regarding delivery status and potential delays.
Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients / customers.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the products being delivered to answer customer inquiries and provide basic product support.
Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules and deadlines, whilst abiding by all traffic laws and maintaining a safe driving record
