Details We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Technical Designer, working across Outdoorwear. The Technical Designer will cover multi product, and work on own brand and branded ranges across menswear, ladieswear and kidswear.
Technical Designer OverviewAttending and leading in design meetings, and overseeing more junior members of the teamCarrying out extensive market and trend research, including comp shopping reports, attending inspiration shopping trips, and keeping up to date with innovations and developments in the Outdoorwear fieldWorking into briefs and also developing conceptsAttending fit sessions and ensuring products are fit for purpose while creating detailed tech packsCollaborating with the wider teams such as graphic design to ensure ranges are cohesiveMinimum RequirementsThe Technical Designer must have previous experience in a similar role with excellent knowledge of technical fabrics. They will be expected to attend trade fairs and be self-motivated with the ability to work well under pressure.
