Technical Design Authority: Radar Warning SystemsThis role requires an individual who will design, develop and support competitive (cost and performance) products that meet and exceed the market / end user requirements over the entire product lifecycle. This includes the responsibility for technical integrity of the Sub-system and its integration and performance in the higher-level product context.Your rolePlan, Manage, Design, Execute and Support of RWR System Development effort through the product's life cycle against the higher-level System Requirement Specification.Perform requirements definitions and allocations, functional analysis and system synthesis. Derive lower-level component (LRU/SRU) requirements.Take the lead in defining the Roadmap for Radar Warning sub-systems for EW system applications.Research into new Technologies in the EW and Radar environment.Act as a Technical Team Leader on various project and product development.Assist in the planning and management of the technical development process and monitor technical performance.Act as the technical interface to customers (internal and external) for assigned projects.Coordinate and participate in system integration and test activities to achieve a system qualification.Create and maintain documentation for Design, Planning, Requirements, Specifications Tests and Results.Your profileSpecialist knowledge:Overall multi-disciplinary experience in the different engineering disciplines.Knowledge of the Radar Signal (threat) environment that can grow to a comprehensive level.A good understanding of RF system design.Comprehensive knowledge of the System Engineering and Product Development process.Good People Management and Communication skills.Generating and compiling of specifications. (Specification practices).Time and Cost Management to achieve targets within budget and time.Experience:4-5 Years' experience in a multi-disciplinary engineering R&D and product development environment.Experience in the design of Radar Warning systems and/or lower-level components will be an advantage.Experience in the Digital Receivers domain will be an advantage.Software Development experience in the Radar Warning domain will be an advantage.Mathematical skills for design, analysis, and optimization.Good knowledge of various Engineering tools.Qualification:B. Eng. or equivalent.
