Technical Coordinator

Vacancy: Technical Coordinator Overall Purpose of the Job: To co-ordinate all technical service / small installation work from an administrative perspective to facilitate accurate and efficient service delivery and administrative processing to invoicing.
This includes revised and accurate service variances and quoting, highly efficient communication to customers (internal and external) to keep them up to date with scheduling and timelines, both verbally and in writing.
Professional and timely communication, along with extreme diligence in following up with customers and handling complaints, is a prerequisite.
Minimum Requirements: Matric or equivalentMinimum 3 years administration and customer service experienceUnderstanding of financial termsComputer literate (MS Office, Outlook)Typing speed of 50+ wpmBasic project understandingSAP or equivalent financial system literateFusion or equivalent incident management system literate and process understandingJob Specification: Schedule jobs with clients and technicians (internal and external)Provide verbal and written communication to customers on service/project timelinesSchedule technicians' work daily and keep customers informedCoordinate stock for repairs on customer sites efficientlyPrepare service quotations with parts and labor for repair requirements, ensuring customer purchase orders have been received before work commencesRequote customers for variances on work where requiredRecord technicians' daily whereabouts and take corrective measures if their work schedule needs to be amended, communicating expected delays to customersPrepare paperwork to facilitate invoicing to customersAssist with any problems or complaintsProvide customer reporting on a weekly or monthly basis to keep customers updated on activities on their premisesBehavioural Competencies: Customer service orientatedExcellent time managementTeam playerTechnical / functional skillsTimely decision makingPlanning
