Technical Coordinator

Responsibilities:Inspect all vehicles after the IVR process to confirm the condition and repairs requiredControl the movement of all vehicles once stocked to be refurbished and workshop repairs to be doneEnsure vehicles that are displayed for sale are refurbished, repaired and ready for sale & deliveryUpdate the stock sheet daily with progress on refurbishment and repairsControl all costs by verifying estimates of repairs and refurbishmentsArrange all outwork repairs, book all repairs in workshops/panel beaters and do quality control before final deliveryEnsure that there are adequate vehicles pre-prepared for sale by the Used Vehicle Sales ExecutivesProvide daily feedback to the relevant parties on all vehicles under repairEnsure that inspections are conducted for vehicles with the balance of warranty, and are transferred. Monitor all estimates for repeat workPerform root cause analysis on repairs that are done oftenHandle all breakdowns of stock & rental vehicles, liaise with workshops to get vehicles back on roadQualifications:Grade 12 Matric CertificateN3 and possess a Diesel Mechanic trade test certificateSkills:Articulate complex technical information clearly and conciselyAnalytical and strategic skills to identify problems and thereafter solve themDemonstrate integrity and honesty in dealing with colleagues, stakeholders, and customersReliable, performance-oriented and self-motivatedExperience:Experience in heavy commercial vehicle workshops and management - 5 yearsClosing Date: 20 November 2024
