The ideal candidate will have a natural drive to improve processes and end-user documentation.Job DutiesSupport the development of sector specific solutions:Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize and write procedure manuals, technical specifications and process documentation.Gain deep understanding of products and services, and translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging content.Build knowledge of new technical tools and relevant technology on a continuous basis.Evaluate existing software functionality and identify areas of application in the sector specific solutions.Explore alternative methods to do work more effectively.Interact with users after each implementation and identify areas for improvement.Support The Technical Document Authoring FunctionEvaluate current content and develop innovative methods for improvement.Implement updates to technical documentation.Develop well-designed user manuals and release documentation.Adhere to documentation standards and style guidelines.Ascertain compliance to documentation standards.Work with subject matter experts to maintain content.Proofread and edit material to improve quality, readability, consistency and effectiveness of documentation.Required QualificationsExperience in process development.Experience in content authoring.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Minimum Requirements0-12 months experience.Between the ages of 18 and 34.Never participated in the YES program before.EducationMinimum diploma in Engineering or related field.ExperiencePrevious experience (0-12 months) in a technical content development role is preferred.Knowledge And SkillsUnderstanding of software development processes.Proficiency in content authoring tools.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Preferred QualificationsDegree in Engineering or related field.Certifications in process improvement methodologies.Working ConditionsThis role will primarily be based in an office setting, with occasional remote work opportunities. The intern may be required to attend meetings with clients and team members.
