Job Duties:Support the development of sector specific solutions:
Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize and write procedure manuals, technical specifications and process documentationGain deep understanding of products and services, and translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging contentBuild knowledge of new technical tools and relevant technology on a continuous basisEvaluate existing software functionality and identify areas of application in the sector specific solutionsExplore alternative methods to do work more effectivelyInteract with users after each implementation and identify areas for improvementSupport the technical document authoring function:
Evaluate current content and develop innovative methods for improvementImplement updates to technical documentationDevelop well-designed user manuals and release documentationAdhere to documentation standards and style guidelinesAscertain compliance to documentation standardsWork with subject matter experts to maintain contentProofread and edit material to improve quality, readability, consistency and effectiveness of documentationRequired Qualifications:Experience in process developmentExperience in content authoringStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsMinimum requirements:0-12 months experienceBetween the ages of 18 and 34Never participated in the YES programe beforeEducation:Minimum diploma in Engineering or related field
Experience:Previous experience (0-12 months) in a technical content development role is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:Understanding of software development processesProficiency in content authoring toolsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentPreferred Qualifications:Degree in Engineering or related fieldCertifications in process improvement methodologiesWorking Conditions:This role will primarily be based in an office setting, with occasional remote work opportunities.
The intern may be required to attend meetings with clients and team members.
