This advertiser has chosen not to accept applicants from your region.Responsibilities:Requesting quotations and ordering materials from approved suppliers to meet the company's demand;Maintaining acceptable levels of materials and accurate documentation on the ERP;Timely creation and submission of Purchase Orders for approval via the ERP;Completing external provider evaluations to ensure compliance with AS9100;Conducting incoming inspections once material has arrived;Capturing purchased stock and materials on the ERP;Addressing supplier queries promptly and efficiently;Communicating progress from vendors and suppliers to team members and managers;Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.;Complying with current company procurement procedures and policies;Performing minor support roles within the company as required.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Purchasing; or equivalent; or suitable experience in excess of 10 years.Required Skills and Experience:2-5 years of relevant industry experience;Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written);Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.);Excellent administrative & organizational skills;Excellent planning & coordinating skills;Strong communication and negotiation skills;Good analytical and strategic thinking skills;A good understanding of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and potential issues;Pro-active approach to own and manage technical query processes between supplier and engineers.Recommended Skills and Experience:Experience in procurement of Electronic components;Experience in coordinating international shipping from suppliers;Familiar with ERP systems.General Skills:Ability to learn quickly and absorb new information rapidly;Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate on large projects;Ability to work independently;Strong problem-solving skills;High standard of communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
