As a project driven company, we are seeking a hard-working and skilled Technical Buyer to join our Procurement Team.
Job Description
Prepare Request for Quotations for Suppliers as per request.
Source consumables, parts, spares, equipment and services as per request.
Evaluate quotations received in accordance with requirements, prices, specifications, quality and availability.
Negotiate prices, lead delivery time on orders placed or to be placed.
Generate Purchase Requisitions and/or Purchase Orders.
Expedite purchase orders placed from suppliers in accordance with deadlines set, urgency and Leadtime.
Maintain accurate supplier database.
Qualifications
Grade 12
Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
2-3 years related experience in a fast-paced technical environment.
