Our client is consistently contributing to the ever-evolving food supply chain and prides itself on being BRC accredited, having developed excellent relationships with food and beverage companies with a real overall focus on reducing food waste.About the Technical Assistant jobThe purpose of your role will be to provide support to the Technical Manager in maintaining product quality, safety and legality throughout the business by ensuring procedures within the company are followed.Key tasks:Provide consistent support to the technical and quality team.Manage suppliers and maintain the company's BRC Agents and keep accurate documentation recorded accordingly.Oversee product specifications, ensuring up-to-date product information, and handling customer requests and complaints.Conduct site visits and maintain food hygiene qualifications for relevant teams.About YouThe successful candidate shall be a clear communicator at all levels and have an interest working within the food industry.Food Science Graduate or 1-2 years' experience within the food manufacturing industry.Excellent organisational skills.A full driver's license is essential.The Technical Assistant job is based in North West and is paying a competitive salary according to your experience.Our client is focused on your personal development and will assist in deepening your knowledge of the food industry and career progression.The working hours are Monday - Friday 8.00am-4.30pm.Suzy Standen-Payne, Recruitment Team Leader, is the main point of contact for this role.
