Technical Assistant

We act for a leading manufacturing company in the Pietermaritzburg area, currently seeking a dedicated Technical Assistant to carry out process audits, process monitoring and evaluation- ensuring that the correct specification and procedures are followed.
Key Requirements:Diploma in Rubber Technology/Polymer Technology.1+ experience in rubber production industry.Computer Literacy (Advance Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Key Responsibilities:Daily inspection of products.Ensure technical specifications are adhered to during the production process.Identification of all incoming compoundsCompiling test reports and /or results.Reporting results to the customers both internally and externallyLiaising with customers pertains to products testing and results.Conducting relevant tests where necessary.Controlling of non-conformancesConduct investigations upon products failures (Root Cause Analysis)Enforce all quality systems.
