Technical Analyst

DUTIES:

Customer back-order management
Weekly back-order meetings with regional parts managers
Develop potential solutions and, liaising with sales and engineering teams, determine best remedial action
Perform support functions to customers, responding and resolving parts back order technical enquiries
Provide input into QIT process (Bell products)
Strategic stock assessments and providing advice to the planning and purchasing team
Make technical decisions on parts that requires rework
Responsible for Quality control, including packaging material and self-preservation materials
Develop and train staff on basic parts identification.

REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must be Trade Tested, Earth Moving Mechanic. (COPIES OF TRADE TEST CERTIFICATES MUST BE SUPPLIED WITH APPLICATION)
Minimum of 5 years' experience as qualified earthmoving mechanic.
Good communication skills, reporting and writing skills.
Must be resourceful & self-motivated.
Good understanding of hydraulic, electrical & pneumatic circuit diagrams.
Must be computer literate
SAP Experience – Advantageous
Understanding parts profiling
Root cause analysis
Customer focus (HIGH)
Collaboration (Teamwork)
