About the Role NOA's Optimization, Operations & Maintenance (OOM) team is seeking a Technical Analyst who embodies a genuine passion for the technical understanding and modelling of renewable energy solutions. As a Technical Analyst, you will leverage your technical, analytical and problem-solving expertise to analyse technical data recorded at all generators, continuously monitoring the performance of the plants, to find opportunities to improve performance, to forecast generation capacity to our Trading team and to provide the business with an overview of the fleets' performance on a daily/ weekly/ monthly basis.
Key responsibilities: Retrieval, cleaning and storing of all generators' data on a daily basis.Analysing data to track plant performance, identify optimization opportunities and to create energy forecasts for the NOA Trading team.Engaging with the on-site EPC/O&M contractors to aid in fault finding, or verify work done on site.Leverage your experience working with data to consolidate and distil results for informed decision-making.Utilize a diverse range of software products, including Microsoft Office suite and coding tools, to analyse data and communicate it to the business in summary form.Collaborate closely with the NOA Trading team to identify, evaluate, and define new opportunities for NOA's wheeled energy solutions.Participate in ongoing proceedings related to tariffs and market mechanisms to inform and update our modelling and design processes.Required qualifications, skills, and experience Education: BEng or BTech (any discipline)Experience: From 3 to 5 years of working experience in a relevant role will be considered.Experience with Utility Scale Solar PV, BESS and Wind Farm data analysis or modelling, project implementation experience, understanding of energy consumption patterns and energy tariffs will be an advantage.Strong attention to detail.Sound understanding of basic financial modelling and financial concepts.Proficiency in utilizing various software products, including Microsoft Office suite with advanced Excel or spreadsheet modelling skills.Experience with programming (Python or similar) and working with SQL or databases will be an advantage.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a knack for conveying technical solutions to diverse audiences effectively.Ability to plan, prioritise and self-organise.Flexibility to thrive in a dynamic, high growth business environment.To apply for the role, email your resume to ****** together with a cover letter that highlights your relevant work experience and achievements that make you an ideal fit for the role, and what motivates you to join the NOA mission.
