This exciting opportunity is available within Santam RE: Reinsurance Inwards Accounting.WHAT WILL YOU DOWe are looking for an individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to build good relationships. The successful incumbent's main responsibility will entail executing the financial aspects of reinsurance, including the processing and accounting of reinsurance transactions, performing controls and resolving accounting queries with clients.WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFULManage and maintain accurate financial records related to reinsurance transactions.Perform regular reconciliations of reinsurance accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. Reconcile reinsurance balances with counterparties, including reinsurers and brokers.Liaise with internal departments, such as underwriting, claims, and finance, to gather necessary information for accurate reinsurance accounting.
