We are hiring a Technical Account Manager (TAM) in the Amazon Books team. TAMs own operational relationships with top book publishers and sellers and ensure a seamless flow of detail page information and book content to Amazon readers. The successful candidate will be customer obsessed, and show technical aptitude for solving sticky problems while maintaining a positive relationship. In addition, they will persist in the face of ambiguity to find the fix for any escalation, no matter how complex.
This role can be located in Cape Town, London, Luxembourg or Madrid.
Key job responsibilities
The position will be responsible for the following:
• Deliver world class escalation support and own the operational relationship for our top publishers and sellers
• Route opportunities to improve the vendor experience to into the Voice of the Vendor program
• Influence content providers to prioritize Book selection and quality
• Develop and improve global Standard Operating Procedures, especially related to new process creation or transitioning to more cost effective teams

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Experience scripting or coding
- Experience communicating effectively with senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Knowledge of internet fundamentals
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts
