Purpose of Position: Act as the 'hub' for managing the relationship with existing Hexagon clients. Specialise in taking a pro-active approach to problem-solving with Hexagon clients working closely with them to ensure they receive the maximum benefit from the Hexagon suite of products. Responsible for continually fostering the relationship and working directly with Hexagon clients to help them succeed.
Major Areas of Responsibility: Pro-actively manage Hexagon's relationship with assigned clients Responsible for direct sales (product upgrades and services) to existing clients Responsible for working directly with clients to match the Hexagon suite of products with the client's needs and requirements Directly responsible for the communication and coordination of additional client support as needed with other departments Ensures the client's needs and expectations are met Provides expert technical advice to existing clients Provides timely feedback to the Technical Support and Software Development Departments to assist in continually improving Hexagon client support and the Hexagon suite of products Effective communication & good relationship skills Ability to manage and work in teams Understands the sales process Timely reporting of sales opportunities Meet sales goals and objectives for your region Meet the Key Performance Indicators as defined by your manager Other duties as assigned Knowledge and Experience - Required: Demonstrated negotiation, problem-solving and presentation skills Ability to prioritize and work with deadlines Ability to learn quickly and share knowledge and information Travel within Southern and East Africa will be required Protect the company brand and reputation by exhibiting good behaviour and reporting on any noncompliance to safety, procedural, or other customer-dictated regulations Maintain good relations with the customer's personnel and communicate any issues that may arise Establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, technicians and engineers Matric and Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Sales or equivalent combination of education and related experience Three or more years of technical sales/account management experience in enterprise sales Travel: Is International and/or Domestic travel required?
