Tech Writer/EditorSimVentions is a 100% employee-owned business and has consistently been voted one of Virginia's Best Places to Work. We are looking for a Technical Writer/Editor to join our team in support of the NSWC Dahlgren. The Tech Editor will review and edit a variety of reports and presentations to ensure DoD classification standards are met, maintain a file and folder archive of historical reports, and update/maintain existing templates. Responsibilities: Review and edit technical reports including, but not limited to, MS Word documents and MS PowerPoint presentationsWork with team members to develop accurate, clear and readable technical reports and presentationsCreate or update existing templatesMaintain copies of submitted products for future referenceRequired Skills & Experience: ACTIVE Secret ClearanceProficient in MS Word and MS PowerPointExperience preparing, writing and editing technical reportsExperience verifying credible resourcesPreferred Skills & Experience: Experience with MS Style Guides and Slide MastersExperience with derivative classificationEducation: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in Communications or English is preferred
Clearance: A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

The projected annual compensation range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
