To manage and oversee the team while delivering superior customer service. Responsibilities include:
Growing and maintaining our customer base through partnerships.Proactively maintaining policy records and cross-selling customers through value-adding service and products.Making pricing and refund decisions where required.Adhering to business procedures, audit, regulatory, and legislative requirements.Creating new processes within an operational environment based on agreed human performance principles.Providing a leading/best practice service and administrative operation for the SBIB product portfolio.Reporting on all activities within the respective environment.Utilizing available technologies to enhance efficiency.Ensuring the area meets its targets, budgets, and KRAs.Effective planning and monitoring of all operational requirements.Contributing to the overall achievement of team and organizational goals and strategies.Minimizing operational losses by creating awareness and carrying out rectification actions.Providing clear purpose and direction through daily/weekly connect sessions following the Connect Methodology.Adhering to the Standard Bank Performance Management process and procedure.Handling all operational issues immediately to minimize risks and escalations.Qualifications: Completed MatricFAIS – RE Exam (Mandatory)NQF 4 or 5 Qualification recognized by the FSB; FAIS Qualification – 150 credits in respective long-term categories.Experience: 3 years' experience in the Long-Term/Short-Term Insurance Industry (must be FAIS compliant).3-4 years in call center, client servicing, people management, report writing.Please note: All our recruitment processes comply with applicable local laws and regulations.
