In this role, you will manage designated teams within the DC, ensuring customer deliveries are picked, staged, and dispatched on time to achieve OTIF KPI. You will drive performance, compliance, and contribute to departmental KPIs.
A day in the life of an Outbound Team Leader:Delivering on customer expectations: Actively participate in Warehouse matters of the Customer Facing Supply Chain for cross-functional alignmentRegular communication with customers, customer service, and key stakeholdersCollaborate on elements impacting Freshness and Bad GoodsEnsure timely shipments for pre-loadingMaintain budget and monitor KPIs: Manage IRA, stock losses, and bad goodsEnsure staff productivity targetsManage warehouse accuracy, staff resources, and Automation LGVsMonitor Kronos hours, leave, and absenteeismPeople management, KPI updates, and board presentationsManage inbound/outbound transport vehicles and service providersManage inventory and equipment: Manage MH Health Checks and equipment conditionEnsure security targets and daily cycle countingMaintain warehouse accuracy and handle unit transactionsManage safety and health: Adhere to safety regulations and investigate/report accidentsEnsure compliance with machinery requirements and quality controlManage talent and succession plans: Conduct IDPs, PE/PDG, and drive performance managementMaintain discipline, select, retain, develop, and lead the right peopleAssist LEAN Value Stream Design for continuous improvementWhat will make you successful?
