Team Leader: Call Centre

Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of debt collectors to achieve monthly targets and uphold high recovery rates.Oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and internal policies.Handle escalated debtor queries and complaints, providing fair and effective resolutions.Monitor and report on team performance, providing accurate data to management and identifying areas for improvement.Implement disciplinary measures and performance improvement plans as needed to maintain a productive work environment.Requirements:Education: Minimum Matric; a tertiary qualification in Credit, Risk, or Business Management is advantageous.Experience: Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role within a debt collection environment.Skills:Solid understanding of debt collection processes and regulations.Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and inspire team members.Effective decision-making, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.Attributes:Self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to handle high-pressure situations.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Team-oriented with a positive attitude and a commitment to achieving results.
