SummaryOur BDE team is responsible for sourcing new leads for our Regional Directors (sales team) and is the biggest source of new business for us. We are looking for someone to be a dual contributor both leading the BDE team (of 4 direct reports and 3 dotted line reports) as well as developing their own leads.We are largely focused on the large market to enterprise segment.Key objectivesThe primary objective of the BDE team leader is to ensure we are generating new pipeline and meetings for the sales team. In particular, they should:Ensure we collectively meet our meetings targets and new meetings targetsMeasure and manage all key KPIs (e.g. show up rate, meetings with target personas)Manage and motivate the teamManage updates to the sales teamThe Team lead bonus is paid quarterly based upon the volume of qualified opportunities created for the team (by AEs and BDEs).Performance ResponsibilitiesBe a source of best practice for all elements of cold outreach (research, email, calls, LinkedIn)Identify and implement best practices for lead generation across the teamIdentify problems or issues across the team or individually and remedyAB test different approachesTo measure and report on key KPIs and progress across the AEs and BDEs to CRO, regional MDs and RDsManagement responsibilitiesManage PPP weekly calls on Mondays and Fridays, as well as periodical team meetingsManage individual monthly, quarterly performance reviewsTo review and manage the monthly BDE/AE incentivesTo manage BDE and AE administrative tasks (holidays etc)Recruitment, training and onboarding new startersJoint quarterly performance reviews for BDEs with respective RDIdeal candidateExperience leading a successful BDE or SDR teamExperience in large market/enterprise sales in the financial sectorAble to coach and support team on best practicesAble to manage and motivate teamDesired SkillsTeam LeaderBusiness Development Executive team
