Job Description
Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance on plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC systems.Address and repair issues with appliances, fixtures, and general infrastructure.Conduct regular inspections to ensure the housing units are in good condition.Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency repair requests, such as leaks, power outages, or heating failures.Provide quick solutions to prevent further damage and ensure safety.Renovations and Upgrades: Assist with or manage renovation projects, including remodeling rooms or updating facilities.Install new equipment or upgrades as needed.Safety and Compliance: Ensure all repairs and maintenance work complies with safety regulations and building codes.Conduct safety inspections and address potential hazards.Inventory and Supplies: Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and repair materials.Order and manage supplies needed for maintenance tasks.Record Keeping: Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.Report on the condition of facilities and any issues that need attention.Customer Service: Interact with staff residents to address their concerns and provide assistance.Communicate effectively to manage expectations and provide updates on repairs. Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills: Proficiency in plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC systems.
