Tax Specialist

Responsibilities:Preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packs and assisting with preparation of the annual financial statements for the Group of companiesPreparation of regulatory submissionsAssisting with variance analysis of key trends and review of balance sheets to parent companyAssisting with preparation of the direct and indirect taxes calculationsResponsible for all withholding tax calculations and submissions for the GroupResponsible for posting of the journals for taxationAssisting with ad hoc projects and requests from the Financial Reporting and Tax ManagerMonitor and stay informed of the latest changes in tax laws, regulations, and guidelines, ensuring timely application and compliance across all relevant areas of the organizations tax obligations.Provide insights and recommendations to adapt processes and policies in response to evolving tax requirementsRequirements:Relevant tertiary qualification in AccountingMinimum 2 - 3 years relevant Accounting and Tax experienceExposure to month end reporting processes and preparation of annual financial statementsProven analytical skills with experience working with large volumes of dataProven track record with performing complex reconciliationsProficient in MS Excel (intermediate – advanced)Exposure to Dynamics Reporting Tool – advantageousRetail and/ or Financial Services industry experience – advantageous
