Duties: Registering all tax types SARS: E-Filing Payment arrangements Submission of objections and appeals Manage and submit SARS audits and reviews Queries Prepare tax payments Submit and track tax returns (Companies, Trusts and Individuals) Completing and submission of tax returns for: Individuals Trusts Companies Organize and update companies tax database Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals Review and compilation engagements Drafting AFS in accordance with IFRS for SME Requirements: Grade 12 BCom Accounting Degree or Diploma SAICA / SAIPA Articles 5 years in an accounting / auditors firm Knowledge of accounting software such as: Xero Sage Pastel CaseWare TaxWare etc Knowledge of E-filing Previous tax experience, and thorough knowledge of: Corporate Individual taxes Dealing with SARS Objections etc. Excellent communication skills (both written & Verbal) Contactable references
