B. Manage tax compliance systems and processes (companies, close corporations, trusts and individuals)
Statutory registration completed
Provisional tax prepared, calculated and reviewed
Income tax/ VAT/ PAYE returns are calculated, reviewed and filed according to required deadlines
Assessment discrepancies identified and addressed
Supplementary declarations prepared and reviewed
Dividends tax calculated and submitted
Assets & Liability schedules prepared
Income tax assessments reconciled
SARS queries responded to timeously
Applications for tax clearance prepared and submitted
Tax deadlines are met
Tax records maintained in compliance with legislation
C. Lodge objections on disputed assessments
All relevant information obtained from the client
Case presented clearly and accurately according to agreed format
Deadlines are met
D. Develop, maintain and implement systems, policies and procedures
Policies and Procedures are up to date
Policies and procedures are reviewed regularly and reflect best practices
Systems changes tested and implemented as required
Company policies are communicated and adhered to
Risks managed
E. Manage and develop staff
Staff levels maintained and recruitment process supported
Monthly team meetings facilitated
Team members receive regular company communication

Job Requirements:
B.Com in Accounting
H.Dip (Tax) or Hons
M.Com in Tax (adv)
Registered SAIT Tax Practitioner
8 years tax compliance experience (3 of which needs to be in a supervisory role)
