Tax & Compliance Manager

While a CA qualification is preferred, it is not mandatory. Membership in SAICA or SAIPA and completion of a 3-year article internship are advantageous. Proficiency in Oracle or SAP and strong competency in Computer-Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) are essential.You will have 3-5 years of post-article experience, preferably within a global company, as this role requires close collaboration with international tax teams in the USA and global audit teams in Europe. Experience with retail operations, particularly within the FMCG/Food industry, is highly desirable.Your key responsibilities include preparing annual audited financial statements, ensuring strict compliance with local financial reporting and tax legislation, managing statutory audits, and leading tax reporting efforts. Your role is crucial in maintaining the company''s financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.The role demands strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills. It focuses on detail and process improvement. You will also oversee internal and external audit controls, maintain SOX compliance, and develop efficient tax and compliance procedures.This position plays a crucial role in ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and process enhancement across African markets.
