TAX & Accounting Team LeaderWe are seeking a Tax & Accounting Team Leader for a large Accounting / Auditing Firm based in PTA East.BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The Tax & Accounting Team Leader will be responsible for various client matters, administrative details, supervision, and training of Trainee Accountants.Duties & ResponsibilitiesKEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:Systems and Technology:Maintain the DataGrows CRM with accuracy.Implement the latest technology to improve business practices.Train all employees on systems and software throughout the business.Review and improve current systems.Employee Management:Ensure employees align with company goals through revision of work attended to by Trainee Accountants.Confirm monthly that all employee timesheets are updated and submitted correctly.Enhance employees' client relations and services.Ensure all employees are trained and that their logbooks are updated.Maintain a great company culture.Conduct feedback sessions and ensure employee wellbeing is prioritized.Retaining Clients:Ensure client compliance with legislation.Provide all retainer clients with their Monthly Management Accounts.Deliver high value-added service to all client businesses.Minimize client complaints throughout the company.Business Operations:Complete all accounting-related tasks from processing to AFS.Attend to payroll tasks regularly.Complete CIPC matters and other statutory functions.Ensure PAYE, UIF, SDL, and IRP5 Recon (E@syfile) submissions are done within set deadlines.Manage SARS e-filing (VAT, PAYE, Income tax).Attend to SARS matters and tax returns for individuals and companies.Manage company audits without any reviews.Regularly ensure all relevant processes and feedback are completed.Align employee focus with the practice's objectives.Utilize and follow all other practice management tools with care.Desired Experience & Qualifications- Degree: BCOM Accounting- Completed SAIPA Articles- SAIPA RegisteredPackage & Remuneration- Negotiable / depending on experience
