Tax Accountant

Responsible position with corporate company based in Sandton Duties include: Review and analyse the VAT schedule Capture and submit VAT returns Prepare a consolidated schedule of payments due / refunds for the Group Review SARS statements, track all VAT payments and refunds Monitor SARS e-filing statements for additional assessments, requests for information and VAT reviews; Attend to SARS VAT queries and audits Review and submit VAT review schedules requested by SARS Prepare reconciliations between SARS statements and VAT control accounts, and resolve anomalies Attend to ad hoc queries per request from the Tax Manager Essential pre-requisites BCom Accounting Degree / Diploma or equivalent Sound MS Office skills Minimum three years experience in a similar role SAP and E-filing experience advantageous
