Tasting Room Assistant

A temporary part-time opportunity is currently available for an energetic individual to act as Tasting Room Assistant at Windmeul Cellar. The successful candidate will be required to work every second weekend (Saturdays and Sundays), as well as on public holidays as and when required. This position will be available from September to November 2024.Duties will include the following:Wine salesAssistance at Windmeul's farmers' marketCoordinating and presenting wine tastingsSales- and stock administrationCustomer serviceRequirements:Willingness to work every second weekend, Saturday & Sunday 09:00-17:00 and on some Public HolidaysMinimum Matric; relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing / Sales / Hospitality will be advantageousPrevious experience in customer service, hospitality, wine sales and wine tastings (recommended)A professional, friendly, and well-groomed personalityExcellent communication skills in both English and AfrikaansVery good interpersonal skillsGood computer and numerical skillsKnowledge of and an interest in wineDriver's licence and own transport
