SAICA Graduate Recruitment Onsite visits to the universities and all other events hosted by the universities.
Maintain relationships with university stakeholders.
Taking charge of ideation and preparation for the career fairs.
Attending career fairs.
Assisting with processes being put in place to streamline recruitment.
Setup and perform first round interviews with students – virtual or in-person; Act as first point of contact for all students or future trainees and assist with daily external communication after first round interviews; Be the voice of the firm and manage relationships with students, ensuring excellent representation at all times; Responsible for the administration of the full recruitment lifecycle Maintain all graduate recruitment documentation and student database management.
Develop and manage graduate recruitment initiatives, including strategising ideas with the Audit Partner Execution and implementation of graduate recruitment initiatives and ideas, including in-office and virtual events; vacation programmes; student forums and discussions; catch-up sessions; open days etc.
Act as a personal mentor to first year trainees Internal events Setup and co-coordinate the yearly induction programme.
Setup and co-coordinate the yearly TeamBass social events - audit welcome, annual kick-off event, year end function and other staff social events Preparing and designing Teambass desk drops and goodie bags.
Communications Responsible for company communication forum.
Appointment of representatives.
Liaising with the partner and organising/running meetings quarterly.
Compile agenda and minutes of the communication forum meetings.
Corporate Social Responsibility Responsible for Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy.
Organising volunteering activities for staff to take part in.
Developing relationships with charities in and around Cape Town.
The ideal incumbent: Be passionate about recruitment and driving company culture An accredited University degree (Business, Communication, Psychology, Law, HR, Marketing, Sociology, PR, Hospitality) • 2+ years' recruitment experience Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to managing multiple tasks with conflicting demands and timeframes.
A strong attention to detail with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
A flexibility and willingness to learn and 'get the job done'.
The ability to function well in high pressure situations and meet deadlines.
A good command of English, both written and verbal.
A dedication to teamwork and an ability to build relationships with staff at all levels in person and through digital communication.
