Talent Acquisition Specialist (18 Month Contract)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESUtilize proactive, creative and cost-effective recruitment methods to attract and source a diverse pool of candidates, including leveraging online recruiting resources, social media, Employee Self Service.Continuously partner with the business, building relationships with stakeholders and collaborating with hiring managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of requirements.Screen resumes and interview candidates to determine applicable fit for current or future opportunities.Proactively identify hiring needs and design, refine and implement the recruitment strategy to fill each position in a timely manner.Educate and support hiring managers, enabling them to better design job descriptions, evaluate potential profiles and improve competency based interviewingUtilise appropriate assessment techniques to improve the selection process and ensure a focus on evidence-based decision making.Act as an advocate for best practice, monitoring local accountabilities to ensure ethical and transparent practices are maintainedAd-hoc project work to support the wider HR and business communityConsistently drive applicants to apply for open roles using our ESS (Employee Self Service) and manage workflow on time to ensure a smooth recruiting process REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor degree in Business or Industrial Psychology, ideally with a professional qualifications in the HR field.5 to 8 years experience in Human Resources management or related fieldExperience in full cycle recruitment in various functions and business lines, from blue collar, skilled trades and professional & leadership searches.Expert knowledge in utilizing external sources such as search engines, job boards, social media tools (e.g., LinkedIn) to identify candidatesExcellent engagement skills as an experienced business partner across wide range of stakeholdersExcellent communication skills to include verbal and writtenExtensive experience writing appealing candidate centric job postings and messagingProficiency with Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)Exposure to business stakeholders at all levels, designing bespoke recruitment Ad hoc action plan to resolve specific requirements.Experience with various direct sourcing techniques, including knowledge of job posting and searching through professional platforms such as LinkedIn.Ideally an experience utalising various assessment methodologies including competency based interviewing, role play and group assessment centre design, aptitude and psychometric profiling tools.Competent using in-house applicant tracking systems, Ideally Workday
