Tactical Intervention

The suitable candidates main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Routine patrols within a dedicated area of responsibility with focus on crime prevention;Identify out of the ordinary behaviour and actions, as well as respond to various types of incidents;Patrolling main areas and responding to Alarms, Escorts and removals of disturbances.Monitor and report all risk situations;Risk reduction including dynamic risk assessment, risk factors and responsibilities after physical intervention;Accurate record keeping;Security intervention with random searches, traffic controls, first responders to emergencies and Escorts; Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification; Proof and Verification of Grade A PSIRA Certification;Valid Code 8 drivers license;Firearm competency for Handgun, Shotgun and RifleRegulation 21;Recognised tactical trainingPrevious experience at operational tactical response level;Defensive driving qualification;Excellent disciplinary record,Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record; Own reliable transport
