We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Tactical Armed Response Officer to join our dedicated team.Key Responsibilities:Provide immediate armed response to alarms and emergency situationsPatrol assigned areas to ensure safety and prevent criminal activityRespond swiftly to incidents and investigate suspicious activitiesWork closely with control room personnel to coordinate responseAssist in deterring criminal activities through visible armed presencePrepare incident reports and maintain records of patrol activitiesEnsure safe and secure handover proceduresUse conflict resolution techniques to diffuse tense situations without resorting to violence.Follow best practices for threat assessment and the appropriate level of force, keeping public and personal safety a priorityMaintain high levels of physical fitness with the ability to handle high-pressure situationsRequirements:Grade 12 or equivalent qualificationPSIRA Registered (Grade B or higher) with Armed ReactionValid SAPS Firearm Competency Certificate (Handgun, Shotgun, and Rifle)Previous experience in armed response or law enforcement (minimum 2 years preferred)Clean criminal recordMaintain high levels of physical fitness, as the job often involves long hours, quick response, and potential physical engagementStrong communication and interpersonal skillsValid driver's license.Attributes:High level of integrity and professionalismAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong situational awareness and decision-making skillsAbility to remain calm and act quickly in emergencies.
