Systems Engineer

Job brief
Established Investment Group is looking to employ a Systems Engineer that will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the computer infrastructure and networks.
Responsibilities
Monitor and troubleshoot system performanceIdentifying and resolving system-related issuesEnsuring system uptime and availability.Design, configure and maintain computer systems, including hardware, software, and networks.Install and configure system hardware and software, including operating systems, databases, and virtualization technologies (VMWare) and storage arrays.Manage and configure system users and user groups, as well as system permissions and access controls.Plan and implement system upgrades and migrations.Microsoft Azure administration and troubleshooting.
Requirements
Matric / Grade 12Certifications : Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or similar.Minimum of 3 years experience in systems engineeringExperience with system design, implementation, and maintenance and cloud computing.Knowledge of system security concepts and protocols.Skills: load balancers; Veeam; Cisco; Linux and KubernetesSystems knowledge: VMWare and Microsoft Azure
