Systems Analyst

TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Systems Analyst within the Corporate Services division in Pretoria, Gauteng.

Responsibilities and Duties
Interpret business requirement specifications and translate it into a detailed system design specification / technical specification
Develop System / Functional Documentation, operations manuals, systems processes, and technical designs, being accountable for their completion
Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance
Carry out acceptance testing of new or updated software applications by developing test data and calculating expected results
Responsible for the execution of programs and procedures, as well as the review and evaluation of output and systems
Responsible for technical system support throughout the TWK Group

Qualifications and Skills
Matric / Grade 12
Relevant technical or business qualification – degree / diploma
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in RPG / Systems development
SQL/400 knowledge essential
Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle
Strong analytical skills
Knowledge of Agricultural industry (Advantageous)
Analyse, resolve difficult/complex system issues, by working with the end-users and other IT support staff
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Problem-solving skills with a keen eye for details
Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
Strong verbal as well as written communication skills
