Systems Administrator

Our client is looking for a Systems Administrator to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the Syspro ERP system, ensuring optimal system performance, and supporting users across the organisation.
Responsibilities: Administer all aspects of Syspro ERP, including creating and maintaining user profiles, roles, and access.
Monitor and maintain the integrity of master and transactional data within Syspro.
Oversee daily Syspro performance, reporting any issues to IT and the CFO.
Ensure all changes to the system are auditable and properly documented.
Identify and implement value-adding features within Syspro to enhance system usage and increase ROI.
Stay updated on the latest Syspro changes, including ports, hotfixes, and new solutions.
Facilitate continuous training on the Syspro Learning Channel (SLC).
Collaborate with other domain owners to implement end-to-end solutions.
Plan, communicate, and execute project deliverables effectively.
Manage change control, enhancements, and testing for new system implementations.
Maintain relationships with external service providers.
Provide day-to-day supervision, reporting, and administration of assigned business systems.
Act as project manager for new projects, including third-party product integration, and ensure proper training and rollout.
Analyze and improve business processes for successful system implementation.
Resolve support queries in collaboration with relevant departments and consultants.
Provide user support, suggest system improvements, and organize training sessions as needed.
Address helpdesk tickets within 48 hours.
Assist with year-end stock take, ensuring roles and procedures are clearly defined.
Advise users on efficient transaction processing and task completion.
Key Skills: Strong financial understanding of transactional processing in Syspro modules to support business processes and data integrity.
Ability to initiate and complete improvement projects.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with management, users, and stakeholders.
Proficiency in Syspro architecture, system functionality, customization tools, and database data structures.
High proficiency in Excel and T-SQL.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with production and manufacturing operations.
Knowledge of integration principles with Syspro sub-modules and GL.
Planning and business process improvement skills.
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with employees and service providers.
2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
2-5 years of experience in Syspro and/or database helpdesk support.
2-5 years of experience in business systems.
Experience Required: 4+ years Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in IT, Business Systems, or a related field are advantageous.
